He was born in Greene County January 10, 1904, the son of Nancy Lemrick Deem and Benjamin Deem.
He was a member of the Freedom Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Deem is survived by his widow, Mary Ellen Neill Deem; three sons, William Deem of Indianapolis, Edward Deem of Worthington, and Walter Deem, at home, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the West & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Earl Ramey, pastor of the Freedom Church of the Nazarene, was the officiating minister.
Internment was in Riverside Cemetery.
