Eva C. Fenton, 71, of Terre Haute died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, March 29, 1999, in Union Hospital. She was formerly employed with Krosbecks Cleaners and the Grandmothers Club. She was born April 23, 1927, in Clay City to George Sheer and Ollie Duling Sheer. Her husband, Carl E. Fenton, died in 1965. Survivors include close friend Katherine Bronnert of Terre Haute; five nieces and six nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Gregory Fenton, in 1985. Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday in DeBaun Idaho Street Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Spear officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today.
