Wife of George Allison Sheer.
Mother of 10 children; 5 of which died in infancy/childhood.
Grandmother to:
1. Lloyd Edwin Shear.
2. Merle LaMax Shear.
3. Paul Dean Shear (my father).

One of dad's favorite memories of his grandmother that he giggles about is something she said after her husband died. After, George passed away their widower neighbor came calling with thoughts of courting her. She told her family, "I put fire in his old tail!!". Meaning that she sent him running because she wasn't interested in dating anyone else. She loved George and stayed faithful to him until she passed away.
