Vincent William Friedman was born November 3, 1966 in Oakdale, California to Laurens "Larry" and Cynthia (Engle) Friedman. In 1972, at the age of six, he moved with family to Forman, North Dakota where he lived with his maternal grandparents, Ora and Carrie Engle.
He graduated form Sargent Central High School in 1985. In July of that same year, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in Honduras and South Korea. In April of 1988, Vincent received an honorable discharge after having attained the rating of E-4 Specialist.
Visitation was Saturday May 8, 2011 from noon to 1, followed by the funeral at 1, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Forman, N.D.
His ashes were buried in the Forman Cemetery, Forman, North Dakota.
