SWANSBORO NC - Wayne Ernest Bodeker, 75, of Swansboro, died April 24, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Memorial services will be held at noon Friday, May 6, at the Jacksonville Seventh-day Adventist Church with Will Oosthuizen officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and volunteered at The Hem of His Garment. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Bodeker of the home; sons, Richard Bodeker and Jason Bodeker, both of Cleveland, Ohio, James Bodeker of Acworth, Ga., and John Bodeker of Brunswick, Ohio; stepdaughter, Karen Park of Cape Carteret; stepson, Thomas Sanginiti of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Robert Bodeker of Cleveland, Ohio; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
