John H. Rogers, age 73, of Antwerp, passed away Wednesday, August 24th,, 2005 at his residence.
Born in Antwerp, on May 8, 1932, he was the son of Harry and Goldie (Manges) Rogers.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
John Married Bernadyne Begley on December 22, 1951. She passed away November 25, 2000.
He was a machinist at Dana Weatherhead, Antwerp, for 21 years. He was also a farmer.
John enjoyed woodworking and his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Joseph of Fowlerville, MI and James of Snow Camp, NC; daughters Pamela Starr of LaGrange, GA, Paula Schweinsberg of Antwerp, Patricia Wetli of Antwerp, Peggy Shook of Antwerp, Penny Hughes of Antwerp. Brother, Robert Taylor of Ft. Wayne, 26 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
His brother, Raymond Taylor and sisters Alice Rogers and Dorothy Powell have passed away.
Services were at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, August 29th, with Max Begley officiating. Burial was at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp. Memorials to Paulding County 4-H.
