Erick as a child was an indentured servant who came to America from Sweden as a stowaway. He lived in Cadillac Michigan for sometime, until bringing his bride to be Katarina Persson from Tavelsjo, Vasterbottens, Sweden. They married August 16, 1900 in Lamoure, ND. They were parents of six children. Unfortunatly Mr Larson at the young age of 48 was run over with his farm implement when his horses had been spooked. Mrs. Larson was left to raise the children and operate the farm, she did a great job at both.
