Memorial services for Stanley Field, 89, former executive of Marshall Field & Company and a civic leader in Chicago, were held yesterday in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 440 E. Westminster Rd., Lake Forest. Mr. Field, a nephew of Marshall Field, one of three founders of Marshall Field & Company, died Wednesday in his home at 315 Moffett Rd., Lake Bluff. Mr. Field devoted much of his time to civic activities, including the Chicago Natural History Museum, of which he was chairman and former president. He also was instrumental in developing the Shedd Acquarium and the Brookfield Zoo. Surviving are a son, Joseph N.; two daughters, Mrs. T. Clifford Rodman, and Mrs. James A. Cook; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
