Jo was born to Harold and Thelma Cutler, and spent her childhood in Salt Lake and later moved to Heber City, Utah. After raising her four children, she began a successful career in the hospitality industry, and worked many years as a convention coordinator and front desk manager at major destination resorts. Many of the guests she served would remember her winning personality and became life-long friends.
Jo said her last goodbye to her children, Tawna Schlueter-Murphy, Bradley Schlueter, and Jenny Schlueter. Her sisters Marilyn Henze and June Heath, her friend and caregiver Leeann Cheatham, along with her grandchildren Tawny, Aaron, Tiffany, Aidan, and Nadia will miss her. She now joins her family who left too soon before her - son Mark, daughter Robyn, her grandson Joshua Simmons, sister Carol Hunsaker, and her loving husband Hal -- all who are now embracing her in her warm heaven.
Services to celebrate the love and laughter Jo brought during her life will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Cannon Mortuary located at 2460 East Bengal Boulevard (7600 South), and will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
