Born in Pakistan before the partition of India. Harban`s family were all killed during the partition of India back in 1947, she was the only survivor and was rescued by a sikh man who took her to the Punjab (India side) and sold her at a bazaar. Harbans got married in India, Punjab and came to the UK in the 1950's. In 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and in 2009 she suffered two strokes and eventually fell asleep in April 2009, giving her soul up to God where she is now free from all pain.
