Born in England and the son of a basket weaver, Charles W. Acomb and his three brothers were willow basketweavers at the corner of Orion and Ridge Avenue in Pleasant Ridge, Hamilton County, Ohio.
Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Cemetery confirmed that Charles Acomb 1828-1903 is one of nine Acomb family members buried in Plot B36. The plot was purchased and jointly owned by Joseph Acomb 1823-1901 and his brother Charles William Acomb 1828-1903.
