She was born January 18, 1921, in Harrisville, WV, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dausy Goff Sinnett.
Mrs. Pitts was a resident of the Beaver area most of her life, was a retired Control Clerk at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Vanport, a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Rochester, and enjoyed her various trips around the world.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Pitts, on January 9, 1990, a brother, Holton Sinnett, a sister Lois Carol Sinnett, and a brother-in-law, Charles E. Trembath on January 8, 2008.
Mrs. Pitts is survived by a son and his wife, Larry H. and Toni Persinger, Excelsior Springs, MO, and a daughter. Cheryl K. Trembath, Beaver, 4 grandchildren, Randall Persinger, Wendy Knuth, Deborah Dalton, and Donald L.Haney Jr., 10 great-grandchildren, Leah and Paige Haney, Jennifer, Ben and Blake Persinger, Rachel, Jake and Madigan Knuth and Katelyn and Zachary Dalton.
Friends were received Wednesday from 1 PM until service time at 4 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver.
Reverend Gregory Clagg, her pastor officiated and interment was in Beaver Cemetery.
