Mrs. Fanchon D. Smith, 81, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarke Prestridge. Services will be Wednesday. Incarnation and burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith had lived in Dallas more than twenty years before moving to Alvarado several years ago. Besides her daughter, she is survived by a son Bert L. Smith of Berkeley, Calif.
