Brandon Lee Knupp, 12, of Harrisonburg, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

He was born July 27, 1991, in Harrisonburg, and was a son of William R. Knupp of Harrisonburg and Tina Marie Shifflett Eshbaugh of Harrisonburg.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Broadway and was a student at Thomas Harrison Middle School in Harrisonburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jason Gett and D.J. Miller, both of Harrisonburg; a sister, Angie Gett of Broadway; and his grandparents, JoAnn and Buddy Shifflett and Naomi Emswiler, all of Harrisonburg.

The Rev. Kevin Gerber will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
