Robert, known as Bobby, was the third son of my grandparents Daniel and Anna. He was a graduate of Bishop Timon High School Class of 1973 and was a freshman at Erie Community College when his life was tragically cut short. He and his little brother Anthony were killed in a car accident 6 houses from their own house. Out of 7 friends in the car, only the two brothers died and after 28 years I still do not understand why God chose to rip these two precious boys from their mother who had just lost their father 2 1/2 years earlier to a sudden heart attack. Bobby was my uncle and Godfather, and although I have only two very vivid memories of him, both in my grandmother's kitchen, they are forever burned in my mind and something I think about all the time. One memory is that the boys used to make me and my sister a frozen drink, and I clearly remember them doing it, and the other memory if of Uncle Bobby giving me a horse-back ride in front of the sink right where my grandmothers braided throw rug was. I remember someone holding me at the funeral and then after that they were just gone, and I didn't understand why. How I wish I had the power to turn back the hands of time and change that day but it is not for me to understand or change, just accept. Bobby's passion was photography. Second youngest son of Daniel Joseph Zephro (born Donati Paci Zeffiro) and Anna Lucy Sperduti, brother of Pat D. Zephro and Bernard Zephro. Beloved uncle of Anna, Teresa and Daniel Zephro, great uncle of Caitlynn and Logan Jost and Angelaina Ayala. Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
