Millie Lavina Beeson Nash Dillion was born on June 24, 1913 in Rock Port, Atchison County, Missouri. She was the youngest daughter of Martin Rollando (1862-1931), and wife Dehlia Anne Hogue Beeson (1872-1942), who had 16 children. The Beeson family had emigrated to Indiana and then Iowa from Guilford, North Carolina where they had probably been members of the Quaker community. She was married to Clyde L. Nash (date unknown) and they had 6 children together which are Elaine, Velora, Eugene, Gerald, James and, Anita.

Millie and Clyde were divorced on June 29, 1951 in Weiser, Idaho. Sometime in 1951-1952, she met Clarence James Dillion while working as a waitress at the Trailways bus depot. Clarence was an employee of the Union Pacific railroad and Weiser was the section starting point. Millie and Clarence had two children: Clarence Joey (May 12, 1953) and Cheryl Jodell (October 14, 1954). Millie died on Christmas Day 1997 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She raised eight (8) children, often by herself, and will be forever missed by her children, her family and many friends.
