Deceased Name: Carl Baugher
-- The funeral for Carl Clifton Baugher, 93, of Harvest will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Fairview Baptist Church. Mr. Baugher will lie in state from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.

He died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at home.

A native of Limestone County, Mr. Baugher was a farmer and a retired employee of Goodyear Mills in Decatur. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Baugher was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Atlee and Ruther Menefee Baugher; and four brothers, Lawrence, James, Charles and Chester Baugher.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Nunley Baugher of Harvest; one brother, Melvin "Buddy" Baugher and wife Bobbie of Athens; two sisters, Louise Griffin of Toney, Sarah Jowers and husband Jerry of Athens; several nieces and nephews.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
