Wife of John Van Lew, married January 10, 1818 in Henrico County, Virginia. Mother of the famous Civil War spy Elizabeth Van Lew (Find A Grave Memorial# 1056), John Newton Van Lew, Anna Paulina. Her burial took place when the Church Hill family's financial and societal standing had been decimated by the Civil War and Unionist endeavors, and her family could not afford pallbearers. Recorded as buried by Reverend Doctors Alexander W. Weddell and Henry S. Kepler in Shockoe Hill Cemetery in The annals and history of Henrico Parish, Diocese of Virginia : and St. John's P.E. Church.
