Ruth Arlene Seaman was born July 31, 1924, in Lebanon County, PA, the daughter of Thomas and Bertha (Hetrick) Seaman. She was raised and educated in Lebanon County, PA. she married Leonard Aalgaard July 24, 1943, at Baltimore, MD. The lived in Ono, PA. They moved to Grand Forks in 1951. She worked for Tufte Manor and Valley Memorial Home Almonte. She made quilts and crafts for children in the hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard, Grand Forks; daughters, Beverly (George) Radabaugh, Portsmouth, Ohio, Patricia Hanson (Louis) Sanchez, Henderson, NV, Louise Erickson (Brian) Ernst, Chaska, MN; a son, Richard (Barbara) Aalgaard, Eerskine, MN; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Gussler, Annville, PA, Grace Kline, Annville, PA, Elsie (Ralph) Goss, Grantville, PA, Ivah (Robert) Parmer, Grantville, PA.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents; a sister, Mary; and by brothers, John, Benjamin and Edgar.
