Mr. Ralph Leroy Oliver, age 78, of 326 East Oak Street died this morning at his home following a sudden illness, Wed. Aug. 12, 1987. Mr. Oliver was born January 19, 1909 at Marion, Va., son of the late Charles and Carrie Rice Oliver.

He was the retired owner and operator of Oliver Distributing Company in Covington. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Tom Young Bible Class of the church. He was a member of Covington Lodge No. 610 Loyal Order of the Moose.

Mr. Oliver is survived by his wife, Mary Craft Oliver, two sons, Robert E. Oliver of Mission Viejo, Ca. and James L. Oliver of Rt. 5, Clearwater Park; five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and are being handled by the Arritt Funeral Home.
