She was a member of the Kerrs Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Clyde B. Chittum, Lexington, one daughter, Mrs. W. C. Rudulph, Houston, Texas; three sons, Clyde K. Chittum, Paul C. Chittum, both of Lexington, Kenton G. Chittum, Abingdon; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at Harrison's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. April 13, 1979, with the Rev. Robert Leonard and the Rev. A. M. Senter officiating. Interment will be in the Stonewall Jackson memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Lexington Life Saving and First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Harrison's Funeral Home.
