The funeral of Reese Darlington, son of Capt. H.B. Freeman, Seventh Infantry, who was drowned on Friday when skating on the Minnesota River, took place at Fort Snelling yesterday afternoon at 3:00 and was largely attended by sympathizing friends of the family. After brief but impressive services the remains were brought to St. Paul, and left the city last evening on the eastern train for Zanesville, Ohio, where they will be interred. The sorrowing father accompanied the remains of his son.
