. Services for Chancey E. Runyon Sr., 89, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Axton will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal.
. Mr. Runyon died at 8 a.m. Sept. 19, 1993 at Sharwood Health Care.
. He was born Oct 16, 1903, in Stanley, N.D., to Joseph and Gertie Miller Runyon.
. He was married to Lillie F. Johnson June 10, 1925, in Bowling Green. She died Aug. 29, 1981.
. Survivors are three sons, Joe Runyon of Vandalia, Jesse Runyon of Hannibal and Chancey Runyon, Jr. of Louisiana; seven daughters, Mary Cox of Hannibal, Ruby Hopkins of Eolia, Trudy Cook, Edna Bush, Ruth Ann Treaster and Esther Glover of Hannibal, and Helen Threlkeld of Eldridge, Iowa; two brothers, Leonard Runyon of Curryville and Lloyd Runyon of Vandalia; one sister, Viola Inlow of Hannibal; 71 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
. He was preceded in death by two sons, James A. Runyon and Lewis Runyon; four brothers, Preston Runyon, Clarence Runyon, Clyde Runyon and Merle Runyon; and two sisters, Edith Flowers and Marie Browning.
. Mr. Runyon was a retired pressman. He worked at Hannibal Rubber Plant. He was a member of the Pentecostal church.
. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Tuesday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
. Pall bearers will be Dwayne Bush, John Cook, Joey Runyon, Kenneth Glover, Richard Runyon and Robert Saxbury.
