William E Bottoms, 81, of 215 Orange Aveneu, Colton, died Saturdy in a Rialto rest home.
Bottoms, a retired farmer, was a native of Texas and had resided in Colton for seven years.
He is survived by his wife Edna, seven daughters, Mrs Edrie Sampson of San Francisco, Mrs Emma Jucker of Wilmington, Lois Fox of Los Angeles and Mrs Opal Gwenn, Mrs Velma Reed and Mrs Juanita Mather all of Texas.
Four sons, Charles Bottoms of Texas, William E Bottoms, Jr of Colorado, Roy Wallce of Colton and Ray Wallace of Mississippi. Thirty two grandchidren and 62 great-grandchildren.
Servies will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Knopsnyder Mortuary Chapel with the Rev Ray Beans of the Colton Church of Christ officiating.
Interment will be held at Hermosa cemetery.
