Ascencion Rodriguez, 87, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 20, 2010, at home.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Ms. Rodriguez was born on May 10, 1923, in Fabens, Texas, and was a daughter of Gabino and Serafina Almanza. She was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved to dance and listen to music.
Survivors include her companion, Paul Macias; three daughters, Marcelina Medina of Chandler, Lupe Garcia of Salinas, Calif., and Juanita Fox of Tucson; four sons, Hilario "Larry," Carmello "Robert" and Tony Rodriguez, all of Casa Grande, and Joe Rodriguez of Chandler; 39 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Genaro Rodriguez, and two sons, Donato "Ronnie" and Ruben "Benny" Rodriguez.

NOTE; Gabino "Chino" Almanza and Ascencion "Chona" Almanza Rodriguez were buried in the same space and plot.
