FORT DEFIANCE — Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Garrison, 53, of Rt. 1, Fort Defiance, died Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 17, 1989) at King's Daughters' Hospital.

She was born Jan. 5, 1936 at Grottoes, a daughter of Boyd and Virginia (Roadcap) Mitts.

She graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in 1953, was a member of Middle River Church of the Brethren and had been employed by American Safety Razor.

On Nov. 18, 1957, she was married to A.L. Garrison who survives.

Other survivors include two sons, David Michael and Daniel Lee Garrison, both at home; and a brother, Warren E. Mitts of Mt. Sidney.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Middle River Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Dennis L. Brown, with burial in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:30-8:30 tonight at Lindsey Weyers Cave Funeral Home.
