She was married Sep. 29, 1932 to the late William F. Shifflett who died Oct. 10, 1951. She then married Willie B. Dearing on Jan. 5, 1953 and he died Jan. 3, 1967. Also preceded her in death was 2 sons, Daniel & Leon M. Shifflett, 1 daughter Frances Shifflett, 1 sister, Rilla Broyles and 1 brother, Nathan Jenkins. Survived by 1 son, Claude C. Shifflett and his wife, Marguerite of Elkton, 1 daughter, Evelyn D. Williams and husband, Monty of Elkton, 1 step daughter Ollie Nickel of York, PA., 1 brother Curtis Jenkins of Timberville, 4 sisters, Nellie Woodward of Syria, Tressie Hornick and Frances Kline both of Timberville and Pearl Emswiler of Broadway, 8 grandchildren, Gerry Shifflett, Bret Shifflett, Travis Shifflett, Donna Shifflett, Sherri Constable, Roxanna Shifflett, Mike Dove and Steven Shifflett, 2 step grandsons, Donald Dean and Gregory Dean, 9 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Burial was in the Koontz family cemetery.
