Mary's death certificate is now on Ancestry. It show her death date as: Jan 18, 1931. She died in Spartanburg County, SC. She was living with her daughter Tolitha Grey and husband. Certificate shows her burial as "Morristown, Tennessee", which is the larger town east of Jefferson City. It's about 10 miles away. AB Grey signed her death certificate as informant, this would have been Allen Grey, Tolitha's husband.

Mary E. Damron Jacobs was born in Jefferson Co., Tennessee and by 1859 had married Wesley Franklin Jacobs also of Jefferson Co., Tennessee.
They were married in Monroe Co., Tennessee and by the year 1876, Mary had birthed 3 children - 2 sons and 1 daughter, namely: Porter Sephus Jacobs, Tilitha L. Jacobs, and William S. Jacobs.
Following the death of her husband in 1899, Mary took employement as a Domestic in Spartanburg, South Carolina where in 1931 she died.
According to her Death Certificate her body was sent to Morristown, Hamblen Co., Tennessee for burial next to her husband. However her body is indeed interred next to her husband, but at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery which is in Jefferson County, Tennessee.
