He was born August 26, 1934 to Leland H. and Louisa Ellen (Rush) Davison in Cowley County, Kansas. He graduated from Hobbs High School in 1953 and was currently employed by Engineered Pipeline Systems Inc. and a member of Life Change Church. He married Glenda Blackmon on October 24, 1959, in Hobbs.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Life Change Baptist Church with Johnny Thomason officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Davison of Odessa; son, Leland Shane Davison of Odessa; daughter, Tamera Reynolds of Odessa; brothers, Louis Davison of Vidor and Lloyd Davison of Midland; sisters, Louisa House of Odessa and Lela Brooks of Mineral Wells; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
