Here lies the bodies of
Mr. Eleazer Houghton &
Mrs. Elizabeth his wife.
He died Feb. 20, 1790 in the
Hundredth year of his age &
she died June 27, 1785
in the 92 year of her age.

They was born in Lancaster & moved
to Lunenburg, in the year 1726.
They lived together a married life
Sixty nine years and upwards.
He liv'd a peaceable & pious Life &
never had a Law suit in all his Life.

By this you see we are but dust;
Prepare for death and follow us.
