Wichita Woman, 76, Dies at Thayer, Kan.

Funeral services were pending Thursday for. Mrs. Eva Mae Oglesbee, 76, of 3006 E. 2nd, who died Wednesday at the home of her son, Kenneth, Thayer, Kan.

She was born Dec. 1, 1882, at Mulberry, Kan., and had been a Wichita resident since 1927. She was married to R. E. Oglesbee at Sedan, Kan., in 1907. He died in 1939. She was a member of College Hill Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to the son include a niece, Mrs. Maxine Skinner, 321 N. Chautauqua; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Sparr, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Letha Harkrader, Elk City, Kan., and four grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Downing Mortuary.

Saturday Rites Set For Wichita Woman


Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Mae Oglesbee, 76, of 3006 E. 2nd will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Downing Mortuary. She died Wednesday at Thayer, Kan.

The Rev. Dr. Herbert D. Cockerill, pastor of College Hill Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roy Harkrader Jr., George Barnes, Randall Bellmon, Henry Bellmon. Leo Bellmon and Bob Malcom.
