ODESSA, TX - Ronnie L. Rogers, 60, fell asleep in death on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Memorial services were held Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in north Odessa, with Luther Whitlow and Jason Rogers officiating.
Ronnie was born December 20, 1949 in Cortez, Colorado to R.A. (Shorty) and Juanita Rogers. He was raised in Lovington, New Mexico, graduating in 1967. He then moved to Odessa, where he lived most of his life. He owned his own business, Rogers and Son, specializing in floor and janitorial care services. He also worked closely with Advance Cleaning in Odessa.
He served as an active minister of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 49 years.
Ronnie was preceded in death by one son, Morgan Wade Rogers; father, Shorty Rogers; brother, Ricky Rogers; and niece, Angela Ivey, whom he loved as a daughter.
