Delta I. Jarrett
Delta I. Jarrett, 75, of 655 Garland av. Winnetka, corporation lawyer, died yesterday in Evanston hospital after a short illness. Admitted to the bar in 1887, he was head of the firm of Deming, Jarrett and Mulfinger and director and general counsel of the Central Coal Storage Company, the Alliance Life Insurance Company and the W.R. Brown Corporation. He also was a trustee of the Meadville Theological School. Surviving are his widow, Maud Vinton Jarrett; three daughters, Gladys of Portland, ME; Mrs. Enid Heideman of Middletown, Conn.; and Mrs. Evelyn Deming of Winnetka and a son, Vinton of Elmhurst. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Third Unitarian Church, 301 N. Mayfield av.
