Betty and Chet were married 66 years. They had two sons, Chet Jr. and Robert, who survive them. Chet's sister, Maxine Elliot, also survives.

Chester served in World War II, Korea and beyond. Betty created and maintained their home.

Interment with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, in Willamette National Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome.
