It was at Glassboro that Frank met Sandra Rieck. They were married in 1961 and eventually had five children, Michael, Robin, David, Pamela, and Daniel.
Frank worked at numerous occupations over the course of his career, from high-school teacher to Buena Borough Chief of Police to rehabilitation counselor to counseling psychologist. These and other occupations took him and his family from New Jersey to Wyoming to Colorado, eventually settling in the Denver metropolitan area. Here Frank worked as a psychologist at the Veterans Administration until his retirement in 1999 as Acting Chief of Vocational Rehabilitation.
In the meantime, Frank found time to be heavily involved with the local volunteer fire departments and rescue squads in Minotola, New Jersey, and later in Arvada, Colorado. When he retired from the volunteer firefighters after ten years, Frank organized the retired firefighters to accomplish numerous projects, including the renaming of a park and the establishment of a monument to the volunteer firefighters in Arvada.
After a lifetime of serving his community, Frank passed away on April 13, 2010.
