Kerry S. Riney, 40, of Hanford, Calif., was born Dec. 10, 1948, in Keokuk, Iowa, and died March 23, 1988, in Hanford, Calif. He was the son of Maxine Bick Riney of Colorado and the late Richard C. Riney, formerly of Kahoka. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; one daughter: Katie, and one son: Kevin, of the home; one brother: Jimilee Riney of Burlington, Iowa; aunts; uncle; cousins; nieces and nephews. Riney was retired from the U.S. Navy. Services were held on March 29 in Hanford, California, with full military honors. Burial was in the Hanford Cemetery.
