Lenora Viola Riney, daughter of Jessie and Mary Bogener Moore, was born May 28, 1885, in Clark county, Mo., and departed this life at St. Joseph hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, Dec. 16, 1955, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 18 days. On January 28, 1902, she was united in marriage to Dave Riney at St. Patrick, Mo., by Father Coonie. Had she lived until Jan. 28, 1956, they would have been married 54 years. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist church. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Dave M. Riney, one daughter, Mrs. Elza Ellison of Canton, Mo.; three sons, Russell Riney of Wayland, Mo., Virgil Riney of Revere, Mo., and Richard C. Riney of Kahoka, Mo.; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one brother, Leonard H. Moore. She was preceded in death by one son Henry Ernest Riney; one sister, Minnie Beard, and one brother, Robert Moore. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p. m. from the Gutting Chapel, Rev. Roustio of Keokuk, Iowa, in charge, assisted by Father O'Duignan at St. Patrick cemetery where burial took place.
