SAMUEL MILLICAN, 59, of Shelby County, formerly of Drummonds, retired security guard with Southland Life Insurance Co. in Dallas, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds. Millican leaves a sister, Ms. Elsie Roberts Crump of Dallas; five brothers, Joseph Millican of Millington, Ruben Roberts of Drummonds, Rev. Finis Rufus Roberts of Russellville, Ark., Mosley Roberts of Atoka, Tenn., and James Roberts of Dallas, and a stepsister, Mrs. Ola Mae Williamson of Munford.
