Mr. Clark was a roofer for Prisco Metal Works and Rhodey Roofing, retiring in 1990. He was a Navy veteran, where he was an aviation structural mechanic 3rd Class Petty Officer, during the Korean War. He also accompanied Admiral Byrd in the second Antarctica Expedition. He was well known for playing baseball in the Sherrett area. For many years, he resided in Wattersonville and Cowansville area.
Survivors include his wife, Clara (Nash) Clark; two sons, Thomas D. Clark of Warwick, R.I. and Daniel J. Clark of Providence; three brothers, James Clark of Cowansville, John Clark of Kittanning and Dennis Clark of Strattanville; seven sisters, Mabel Stanford of Friendsville, Verdean Shearer, Eva Smith and Dian Wolfe, all of Kittanning, Alma Getz of Erie, June Forringer of Jeannette and Margaret Bouch of Worthington. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Wayne W. Clark and James S. Clark; and four brothers, Clair, Glenn, Donald and Loyal Clark.
Funeral services were held Sept. 22 in Lincoln , R.I. and burial with full military honors was in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
