MARRIED - Boles-Hust - At the residence of the bride's father, Rev. Wm. Hust, in Humphreys County, Tenn., January 27th, 1876, by Rev. Wm. W. Graves, Mr. Alfred H. Boles of Arkansas, to Miss Nannie R. Hust, of Tennessee.

May long life and happiness attend both couples. All the parties are well known in our town, and have many friends.

(I don't know why Nannie's maiden name, Hust, is miss spelled on her headstone. Uncle Alfred was alive when she died and he certainly knew the correct spelling. I notice, in a transcription of her obituary, that it is spelled Hurst, and that may be the source for this spelling. Further on in the obituary, her father is identified as Rev. William Hust. This spelling, Hust, was also used for the middle name for one of their sons, William Hust Boles.)
