Ben was the son of Richard and Ginger Nimmo. He was sophomore at Bethany. He loved football, track, basketball, and was a gifted musician and percussionist in his High School band. Ben was a devout Christian. He lived life with great purpose and was a beloved by all who knew him.
Ben is survived by his parents, three brothers and two sisters: Ricky, Johnny, Stephanie, Christopher, and Joy Anne. He is also survived by grandparents: Jim and Ruth Nimmo, Bing and Deborah Lile, Reed and Deborah Wahnee; aunts and uncles: Michael and Teresa Nimmo, Michelle and Marvin Layne, Stacey and Doug Dobbs; uncles, Michael D. Lile and Christopher R. Lile; and numerous cousins. Services were held on March 9 at Church of the Savior in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Over 400 people attended Ben's funeral. He was laid to rest wearing his football uniform and his high school team mates attended in their football jerseys, as well. He was buried at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
