WAUKESHA FREEMAN, Thursday, July 29, 1920: Irving S. Abbott
The death of Irving Samuel Abbott, aged 36 years, occurred Tuesday at the Municipal hospital following a protracted illness which entailed great suffering. He was in the employ of the Werra Aluminum Co., when stricken by illness last May.
Deceased was born in Waukesha and had spent practically all of his life in this city. He was married about thirteen years ago to Miss Ida Garland and their home has been on Barney street.
Besides his widow, Mr. Abbott is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee H. Abbott, a brother, Jay K. Abbott, all residents of Waukesha, and a sister, Emma, now Mrs. Howard Lyman, whose home is at Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at home of the parents, 800 Lincoln Ave., Rev. Clark L. Attridge, rector of St. Matthias Episcopal church officiating. Interment will be at Prairie Home.
