Lady Elizabeth Louisa, daughter of George de la Poer Beresford, 1st Marquis of Waterford, was born at Curraghmore House in co. Waterford. She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Denis Pack in 1816, and after his death in 1823, leaving 4 children ranging in age from 5 years to 7 months, she commissioned the elaborate monument and bust shown on his memorial page. In 1831 she married Sir Thomas Reynell, another of Wellington's generals at Waterloo.
