Herbert Rady Collier, 91, of Fayetteville died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, in a Fayetteville hospital. He was born June 5, 1918, in Hunter.
He was a heavy duty mechanic, a World War II veteran, a lifetime member of VFW Post No. 8532 in Coal Hill and DAV Chapter 62 in Clarksville, and a member of Second Baptist Church of Clarksville.
Funeral was Friday at Roller Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife, Lena; a daughter, Shirley Orsinoe of Labelle, Fla.; two sons, Shon Collier of Shirley and Mark of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Virginia Beavers of Whitehall, Mont.; two stepsons, Pete Dunham of Arlington, Texas, and Jerry Dunham of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
