Alfred P. Bone died Sunday at his home. He was born near Flatrock in Shelby County, Sept. 26, 1836. On Dec. 17, 1856 he married Louisa M. Deacon, they had 6 children, Scott C. Bone now Editor of the Washington DC Herald, Mrs Sadie Morris and Alfred R.Bone of Chicago, Mrs Lora Culbertson who died,Jan 2, 1895 at Shelbyville, Mrs. Mae Bone Parrish of this city, and John C. Bone of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Also two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Floyd of Shelbyville and Mrs. Shelby Sexton of North Manchester and a brother, Thomas Bone of Shelby County. He enlisted in Co.D, 33rd Indiana Reg. He moved to Greensburg in 1887. He ran the local Telephone Company here. He was buried in South Park Cemetery.
