"Norman was 1 of 19 honorees named on 25 Dec 1989 to be inducted into the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame on March 31 will be ushered into that elite institution at a dinner featuring former major-league great Rapid Robert Feller as the principal speaker.

Chosen to be honored posthumously were Martin ''Bud'' Foster, Lee Hudson and Norm Stauder.

Stauder: Died at age of 73; played a dozen years through 1947 in the South Side and North Side leagues; a righthanded hitter, he was a prime contributor as the Rauth Budweisers won the 1944 city amateur championship."
