Alfred Bailey

Alfred Bristol Bailey, 57, of 2701 Donaghey Drive, North Little Rock, died
Thursday. Bailey was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, past chairman of the North Little Rock Airport Commission and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Glenda Hargis Bailey; four brothers, Frank A.
Bailey, R. Eugene Bailey, and R. Robert Bailey, all of Little Rock and Carl E. Bailey, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Benton of
Conway. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Owens Funeral Home by Dr. Cary Heard and the Rev. Paul Barrington. Burial will be in Rest Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Harris, Joe Caple, Bob Byrd, P. E. Munnerly, John Kemp, Dave Roberts, John Ward and Leigh Tenney. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Carl Bailey Co.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.


He served in the Air Force from 1950-1952 as a fighter pilot. He flew
missions in Korea. He served in the Arkansas Air National Guard until
about 1980.
