Prhaze Rosemary Galvan, 3, of Kimball Twp., passed away on January 15, 2010. She was born on February 15, 2006 in Port Huron. Prhaze was a happy, loving, bright and beautiful little girl with big bright eyes. She enjoyed being with her family and many friends. Prhaze is survived by her father and stepmother, Joe and Jennifer Galvan; mother, Cassandra Lovett; stepbrother, Blake; stepsisters, Ariana and Chloe; grandparents, David and Rosemary Galvan and grandmother, Linda Villort; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by her brother, Joe Guy Galvan, Jr. Funeral services will be private. Memorial tributes may be made to the Wishes of the Family

•FRIDAY: Prhaze Rosemary Galvan, 3, dies of blunt-force trauma in her home at 5038 Dove Road, Kimball Township. Her father, Joe Guy Galvan, 26, and stepmother, Jennifer Ann Galvan, 29, are arrested.

•MONDAY: Joe Galvan and Jennifer Galvan are arraigned at the St. Clair County jail on charges of open murder in connection with Prhaze's death. Officials say Prhaze had been abused in the past and Child Protective Services was involved with the family. Former state Rep. Lauren Hager of Port Huron Township files a complaint asking the state Office of Children's Ombudsman to investigate Child Protective Services' actions in the case.

•TUESDAY: Friends and family members picket in front of the courthouse in Port Huron, asking that CPS be investigated in the wake of Prhaze's death. Sen. Jud Gilbert, R-Algonac, files a complaint asking the ombudsman investigate.
