Margaret Mary D'Ambrosio, 93, went to be with the Lord Christmas Day and reunite with her husband Lou "Ambers" D'Ambrosio and her daughter Regina Ann D'Ambrosio.
She was born in Herkimer, New York and came to Phoenix in 1948, where she and her husband of 55 years raised three children.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her sons, Anthony (Irene) and Louis (Phyllis); five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix from 5:00-8:00 P.M., with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Ave. at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Lou Ambers Scholarship Fund in Margaret's honor, Herkimer County Community College, 100 Reservoir Road, Herkimer, NY 13350.
