Thomas Allen McCallie worked for the L & N Railroad (Louisville & Nashville).

Thomas was an Engine Forman, a locomotive engineer, and many things with the railroad.

Born in Manchester Tenn.

His first wife's name was Robbie. They had two children, Thomas Allen (nicknamed "T.A.") and Frances. Robbie died in a car accident in 1924. She is buried along with Thomas Allen in Forrest cemetary Gadsden AL.
He marries again to Ruth. They have 3 children. She dies in 1996 and she too is buried at Forrest.

Thomas dies in 1939 of complications from Pneumonia and (I was always told ) some type of blood clot.

Fathers name: John McCallie. Born 1852- died 1935. Probably middle intial John M. McCallie. Found record of a John M. 76 living with a William "Homer" McCallie in 1930. Found another in residence who was 17 years old. William "Homer" was Thomas' brother. Brother known to live in Etowah County AL. Also believed to have at some point moved to Mobile, Al. However, Homer is buried at Forrest Cemetary in Gadsden AL.
